Octo’s Crab Shack is a 6-column, 5-row slot machine that uses scatter pay mechanics. Wins are awarded for landing 8 or more identical symbols on the reels. The game uses cascading mechanics: with each win, the corresponding symbols are removed, making room for new symbols. If the sum of all wins obtained in Octospins reaches 10,000 times the bet or higher, the win limit is reached and the player is awarded 10,000 times the bet.
Multiplier Upgrade
Each symbol type has an associated multiplier. It is applied to all wins with a certain symbol type. The multiplier value starts at x1 and increases (doubles) after each win with the symbol. A bonus feature can also be randomly activated, during which the multipliers of a random number of symbols are randomly increased at the start of a new spin. The maximum multiplier for any symbol is x64.
The bonus feature is available for all symbols. Each symbol has a multiplier associated with it. The multipliers are randomly increased at the start of each spin or after each win. The minimum multiplier is x1 and the maximum is x64. The bonus feature ends when no more wins are generated in a single spin. This feature is maintained during the Octospins Bonus and the multipliers earned in the main game are carried over into this feature. The multiplier displayed on the symbol will be applied to all wins with that symbol.
Octospins Bonus
When 3 or more Scatter symbols appear, the Octospins Bonus is activated. 3 Scatter symbols award 8 Octospins, and each additional Scatter symbol awards an additional spin. During the Octospins Bonus, the multiplier levels achieved in the main game will be retained. The Multiplier Upgrade feature is active throughout the Octospins Bonus. When a Scatter symbol appears in the Octospins Bonus, 1 additional spin is awarded.
Max Win
If the sum of all wins achieved in the Octospins Bonus reaches 10,000 times the bet or higher, the player receives a bet of 10,000 times the bet.
Buy Feature
Buying the bonus will cost 102x the standard bet size and the round will start with a guaranteed Octospins Bonus. Feature Buy can only be activated during the main game. The theoretical return to player percentage (RTP) for the bet with the bonus buy is 94.27%. Feature Buy costs x the main bet. Activating the Feature Buy guarantees at least 3 SCATTER symbols and the start of the bonus round. After activating the Feature Buy, each symbol can be assigned a random multiplier.
