Game Rules
The Book of Darius video slot has 5 spinning reels with symbols on them. Every time you spin the reels, they stop, showing a random set of symbols in the game window from the 10 symbols present in the game. Certain combinations of symbols lead to payouts. The book symbol acts as a WILD and SCATTER, replacing all symbols. It can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.
You can choose the amount you want to bet on the 9 paylines (lines for short). To spin the reels, you can use the Spin button or the Autoplay buttons (on mobile, Autoplay can be found in the options). When you use the Autoplay button, the reels spin automatically using a fixed number of lines and the bet you have chosen. The reels will stop when FREE SPINS are activated, or you can stop the Autoplay mode at any time by pressing the Stop button.
The Book of Darius video slot game is enhanced with a SHATTER mode with a multiplier of up to 4x in the base game and a special expanding symbol and a multiplier of up to 4x in FREE SPINS.
Shatter Mode
Win symbols explode and new ones appear. The maximum number of SHATTERs is 4. The win multiplier increases with each new SHATTER up to 4.
Any win activates the SHATTER mode. Winning combinations SHATTER, allowing new symbols to appear and form new winning combinations. The maximum number of SHATTER rounds is 4. The win MULTIPLIER increases with each SHATTER round up to 4. The SHATTER mode ends when the MULTIPLIER reaches x4 or when no winning combinations appear on the reels.
Free Spins Feature
3 books activate only 10 FREE SPINS. FREE SPINS can be re-activated.
A special expanding symbol is chosen randomly at the start of FREE SPINS. It expands to cover the entire reel. The special expanding symbol does not necessarily have to be raised.
Special Expanding Symbol In Free Spins
When 3 Book symbols appear on the screen at the same time, they trigger 10 FREE SPINS with the possibility of retriggering. They trigger FREE SPINS when they accumulate in SHATTER mode.
At the start of FREE SPINS, a Special Expanding Symbol is chosen and expands to cover the entire reel. It does not require multiple Special Symbols to appear on adjacent reels to expand. When a Special Expanding Symbol is part of a winning combination in FREE SPINS, it is not scored. Instead, it expands immediately and is scored as part of the feature. If a Special Expanding Symbol is not part of a winning combination, it will not expand.
A new Special Symbol does not appear when FREE SPINS are retriggered. 10 new FREE SPINS are always awarded. FREE SPINS always start with a 1x multiplier that increases up to 4x. During each FREE SPINS round, the multiplier resets back to xl. The special expanding symbol is evaluated at the end of SHATTER MODE. The Book symbol cannot be chosen as a special expanding symbol during FREE SPINS. FREE SPINS are played at the same bet as in the main game. FREE SPINS can only occur once in SHATTER MODE. If a special symbol expands at the end of SHATTER MODE, the slot is evaluated again and only the highest win on a payline will be paid.
