This Blackjack is played with 6 decks of 52 cards.
To start each round, the player places bets in the Bet Places. The object of the game is to win money by creating card totals higher than those of the “dealer’s” hand but not exceeding 21, or by stopping at a total in the hope that the “dealer” will bust.
Number cards count as their number. Face cards count as 10, and aces count as either 1 or 11 depending on the values of the other cards. The hand value is the sum of the cards. If the total exceeds 21, the hand is a bust.
STAND: If the first two cards are acceptable, the player can stand and the dealer will move on to the next Bet Place.
HIT: If the player would like more cards to improve their hand total, the dealer will deal more cards, one at a time, until the player either “busts” (go over 21) or chooses to stand.
There is no limit on the number of cards player can take (other than going over a total of 21).
DOUBLE DOWN : If the player has a hand total that is advantageous but needs to take an additional card, player can double the initial wager and the dealer will deal only 1 additional card.
SPLIT: If player was dealt a pair (2 cards of equal value) they have the option to put out a second wager and the dealer will split the two cards so that each card will become the first card on two new hands. This also applies to face cards.
For example The player is allowed to split a hand consisting of a King and a Jack because they both have the same value, even though they are not actually a pair. Put up a second wager equal to your first.
After the player has finished playing, the “dealer’s” hand is resolved by drawing cards until the hand achieves a total of 17 “soft” or higher (17 “soft” is done with an ace valued as 11). The “dealer” never doubles, splits, or surrenders.
If the dealer busts (hands value bigger than 21), all remaining Bet Places hands win.
If the dealer does not bust, each remaining bet wins if its hand is higher than the dealer’s and loses if it is lower.
If the dealer and the player have the same hand value we have a “Push”, the player gets their bet amount back.
