Bison vs Buffalo is a classic 5-reel slot machine with 4 symbols per reel, boasting fantastic payouts. The game has 40 win lines that pay from left to right and includes 8 regular symbols, each with its own payout level. Among these symbols is the WILD symbol, available in two variations: WILD Bison and WILD Buffalo, both with identical functionality and value. Additionally, the game includes a Sun symbol which triggers the HOLD & WIN bonus game.

HOLD & WIN Bonus Game

Triggered by 6 or more Sun symbols, the HOLD & WIN Bonus Game features 20 independent reels arranged in a 5×4 grid, akin to the base game. During this bonus round, triggering symbols remain fixed in place, transforming into coin symbols that reveal cash prizes. Base game symbols disappear, leaving empty spaces for respins. All bonus symbols pay out exclusively during this bonus round and remain fixed on the reels throughout.

Players start with 3 respins, with each new symbol resetting the count to 3. However, landing empty symbols decreases the respin count by 1. The bonus game continues until respins run out or all reels are filled with bonus symbols. When all reels are filled with bonus symbols, the Grand Jackpot is awarded.

Cash symbols can award prizes ranging from 1x to 25x the player’s bet. Additionally, Jackpot Mystery symbols can award MINI, MINOR or MAJOR Jackpots at the end of the feature. At the end of the HOLD & WIN Bonus Game, all cash and Jackpot prizes are tallied to determine the total win.

Hold & Win – Bonus Buy

Players have the option to directly purchase the HOLD & WIN bonus game by clicking the bonus game button and agreeing to pay 60x the total bet.

Stake Booster

The feature adds more Sun symbols on to the reels, increasing the chances of triggering the Hold & Win feature by 300% Furthermore, it multiplies the total bet by 1.5x. It doesn’t affect winline payouts.

Mystery Win

This feature is randomly triggered after a non-win screen result. It awards a random total bet MULTIPLIER win ranging from x5 to x100, following specific increments: x5, x8, x10, x15, x20, x25, x30, x40, x50, x70, x80, or x100.

BISON VS BUFFALO DUEL Feature with Golden Skull and Take Half

If the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature is available, the following rules apply:

After every win, if you have not reached your gamble limit, you will be presented with the Bison vs Buffalo button in the game window. On desktop computers, the bonus game button changes to the Bison vs Buffalo button when the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature is possible. You can choose to collect your wins or gamble them to double the amount. If you choose the Bison vs Buffalo Duel, a screen with two doors will appear. You will have to guess whether the next animal behind the door is Bison or Buffalo. After you have made your choice, the door will be open and if your guess is right you receive double the amount of your current win. If you do not guess correctly, you lose your current win.

This Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature also includes a Golden Skull, which substitutes for both Bison and Buffalo.
The Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature feature could be available also during Autoplay. To enable or disable the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature during Autoplay, you must hit the Options button, which can be found under the Menu button. When the player enables the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature during Autoplay, the Bison vs Buffalo button is enabled for half a second, instead of the Bonus Game button during Autoplay.

When the player hits the Bison vs Buffalo button during Autoplay, they are redirected to a screen with two doors. In the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature screen the player has three options – ‘collect win’, ‘gamble win’, or use ‘take half’. If the player uses ‘collect’ or lose all your win, they are redirected back to the game screen, where Autoplay continues.

The Take Half button can also be used. It appears when the player enters the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature feature. It offers an option to save half of a player’s win, which is collected and added directly to their balance. The remainder of a player’s win can be gambled further or the Take Half option can be used again. The Take Half option ends when the half is split into two numbers with two decimal places.

The Bison vs Buffalo button does not show up if the won amount is greater than a certain “limit” amount (which is set by an operator). If the player is already in the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature and their current win is greater than the limit amount, then the Bison vs Buffalo Duel feature ends and the player can collect their win.
